Our last Southern League game in September was against Larkhall Athletic, who have had mixed results this month. Thatcham were looking to remain unbeaten in the league for 8 games, and potentially reach the top of the league! The Kingfisher's squad was without midfielder Scott Rees and striker Felipe Barcelos, as they had both been sent off in last weekend's fixture against Melksham Town. However Danny Robinson had strengthened the squad with the signings of Matt Partridge and Fabio Pinto, and the return of Lamin Sankoh.
