A former professional with Oxford United, Matt became something of a legend at Hungerford Town. He played for the Crusaders for 8 years and captained the team as they progressed up the leagues and established themselves in the Conference South. Upon leaving Bulpit Lane during the 2017/18 season he had short spells with Wealdstone and Slough Town, while last season he was part of the Bracknell Town side which reached the Isthmian League D1 play-off final.

Matt is a no-nonsense centre-half who is terrific in the air and likes to play the ball out from the back. He will bring bags of experience and great leadership qualities with him to Waterside Park.
