Thatcham doubled their lead on 15 minutes when a good cross from Gwavava was met with an acrobatic volley from Weekes , leaving the keeper with no chance.
Chalfont St Peter were largely kept quiet by the Thatcham defence but threatened with several free kicks in dangerous areas however they were unable to test Hopwood.
Harvey Harry scored an excellent third goal early in the second half. The Chalfont St Peter keeper came wide to clear, Harry intercepted along the touchline and sent a pinpoint shot into the unguarded net from the angle.
Weekes completed the scoring by racing onto a ball over the top and clipping a calm finish past the keeper to complete his hat-trick.
