Thatcham return to league action following last weekends FA Trophy penalty shoot out exit at Cinderford. The Kingfishers make the trip to the Channel Islands to take on Guernsey and will be looking to pick up some vital league points. The Kingfishers sit in 14th place in the table but will be hoping to climb the league with a win. The squad continues to gel with several new faces being added over the past few weeks to strengthen the team.
Guernsey has produced several professional football players including former club president Matt Le Tissier who played for Southampton and England. Guernsey Football Club was formed in 2011 and have climbed through the Combined Counties leagues whilst also making it to the FA Vase semi final in 2013. The Club's best league finish was 4th place at step 4 in 2013/14 .
Guernsey currently sit in 16th place in the table having made a delayed start to the season. They have 2 wins from the 4 league games they have completed so far so have been in good form although their most recent result was a 2-1 defeat at home to Tooting and Mitcham United.
