Thatcham finally return to league action after the midweek cancellation when they host Chalfont St Peter on Saturday.
After the midweek game against Bedfont Sports was postponed due to the fuel crisis Thatcham now sit in 11th place in the table and Manager Jamie Leacock has given his thoughts on the season so far.
"We have belief in the boys that we have, there are some new additions to the squad, and we continue to look to strengthen to ensure what represents this club meets the values we expect..."
"The results in our last couple of games have been disappointing. As a group we have spoken long and hard about what we want to achieve this season and the kind of team we want to be and I am assured that whilst we will lose more games this year, we won’t turn out performances like the last 2 games. We have worked hard on the training ground and are raring to go and put things right..."
"This will be a tough test like most games in this league and we will be ready for it..."
You can read Jamie's programme notes in full in the programme, available for £2 on the turnstile!
Chalfont St Peter are in 17th position in the table but just one point below Thatcham in 11th. Their most recent league match ended in a 3-0 defeat to Binfield but they have earned a creditable draw against league high flyers Basingstoke.
