Southern League Preview: Moneyfields vs Thatcham Town

The Kingfishers travel away for the first time in the 2019/20 campaign against Moneyfields on Tuesday evening (7:45pm kick-off)

Danny Robinson’s side showed resilience in their opening 2-0 win over Willand Rovers, where defenders Zak Westlake and Curtis Angell found the net to get Thatcham off to a fine start at the Stacatruc Stadium.

Moneyfields, however, suffered a narrow 1-0 loss against Bideford, with each side being reduced to ten men late on.

Jake Raine’s sending off means the home team will miss him for Tuesday’s fixture against Town.

The Kingfishers’ best display against Moneyfields in recent years came in their 4-0 win over the hosts in the FA Vase in 2016.
