
Polds picked up the Club’s Player of the Season award, and also obtained the most votes to win both the prestigious Player’s Player of the Season, and the Supporter’s Player of the Season awards.
Archie Denton was awarded the Manager’s Player of the Season. Titch has been a model of consistency at the back, in spite of having a number of central defensive partners throughout the season.
Tyrese Georcelin and goalkeeper Maciej Wieczorek were both awarded the Young Player of the Season - the two Youth Teamers became established members of the first team squad over the campaign.
Rowan Clark was voted Kingfisher of the Season in recognition of his attitude in training, and positive impact upon the squad’s team bond and morale.
Captain Callum Willmoth picked up the Golden Boot for being the club’s top goalscorer this season – not an award he would have expected to be in contention for back in August!
The Kingfishers finished the season in 15th place in the Combined Counties Premier Division South. After last season’s relegation and high travelling expenses, off-field changes over the summer, and a rebuilding of the playing squad, Cam Philbey’s side won 7 of the last 14 games to pull clear of the relegation zone.
