Ogbonna, who signed for the club during pre-season, has been unable to maintain a place in the first-team squad. Manager Gary Roberts said: "It hasn't worked out for Dubi and rather than him spending a lot of time on the bench it was thought best for him to find another club so he can get regular first team football. “We wish him well for the future and thank him for his efforts whilst a player with Cambridge City."
