Just minutes after scoring at the right end to level the scores at 2-2, Beeden could only thump a close-range header into the top corner from a Manor Farm right-wing cross.
The yellows began the game strongly with Chris Rackley making fine saves to deny Jordan Metters and the dangerous Lewis Bamford. But on 20 minutes they opened the scoring when a corner dropped for Chas Hemmings to lash home.
Rackley continued to be the busier keeper before the Kingfishers levelled with a rare foray into the Manor Farm penalty area. Kyle Tooze had his progress blocked by a defender but Adam Kelly swung the loose ball into the box and Shane Cooper-Clark found the net with a fine header.
The second half continued in a similar manner with Curtis Angell blocking a shot on the line, however Scott Rees almost put Thatcham ahead when he was put through by Cooper-Clark only for goalkeeper Ben John to turn his shot behind.
Having seemingly weathered the storm Thatcham then fell behind to a freak goal when Beeden sliced a cross and the ball looped over Rackley and into the net.
After Jordan Williams was introduced for his Thatcham debut, Beeden grabbed one at the right end, finishing off a great move to make it 2-2. Jack Stanley picked up a cleared corner and threaded the ball through to Cooper-Clark whose cross from the right was firmly headed home by Town’s centre-half.
But unfortunately it wasn’t Beeden’s final act of the game as he found his own net when attempting to clear on 93 minutes, as Manor Farm went on to win the three points.
