The Kingfishers can take the next step in the illustrious FA Cup when the club hosts Salisbury at The Stacatruc Stadium on Saturday (12:30pm kick-off)

The BBC will be present to stream the live action on their website, app and BBC iPlayer as they push to show fixtures from all rounds of the tournament!

A resounding 7-1 win over Andover New Street saw Thatcham progress to the First Round Qualifying stage of the historic competition to face The Whites.

Town have enjoyed a masterful run of form in recent games and remain unbeaten after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cirencester Town midweek.

The Blues sit second in the Southern League Division One South, with only goal-difference separating the club from Frome Town.

With four wins and a draw against Moneyfields, Danny Robinson’s side are one of only four teams in the division without a loss.

But Salisbury will be testing opposition as the club sit sixth in the Southern Premier League South and have a former Portsmouth and Leicester City attacker Steve Claridge at the helm.

Claridge, an ex-Bournemouth and Birmingham City player, has been at The Whites since since late-2014 when the club were re-formed following the liquidation of Salisbury City Football Club.

He has since been involved in over 200 games as his side gained automatic promotion from the Wessex League with 105 points in the 2016/17 campaign.

The Whites have also impressed so far this season after going undefeated in their last five league games, with their sole loss coming in an opening-day away fixture against Chesham United.

David Downs, Thatcham Club President, has sponsored the match-ball for this cup clash whilst the club mascots for this memorable occasion are Daniel and Freya Killick!

Freya is 10-years-old and her favourite player is Joe Selman and Daniel Killick is 8 and his favourite player is skipper Matt Day. Both youngsters cheer on Thatcham and Arsenal!
