The Kingfishers return to Waterside Park this Saturday to host Blackfield & Langley in the Evo-Stik League South Division One (3:00 kick off.)

A waterlogged pitch prevented the Blues from making the trip to Cinderford Town last week, while Blackfield and Langley played out a goalless draw with Street in their encounter.

The visitors are flying high as the current table-toppers in the Southern League with 67 points so far this term.

Thatcham, on the other hand, are sat 13th with a whopping 25 points separating the two sides heading into Saturday's clash.

One player who could make a return to Waterside Park on Saturday is Ekow Elliot. The attacking midfielder joined the current league-leaders earlier in the season after winning the FA Vase and Hellenic League Premier Division with the Blues last year.

The Blues will be eager to put their last game, a narrow 2-1 defeat to Bideford, behind them as they push for a top ten finish.

Larkhall Athletic and Street remain in touching distance in the places above with both teams playing a game more than the Berkshire-based club.

The Watersiders, however, intend to add to their impressive 57-goal tally so far this season and will have eyes on second-placed Yate Town and their home game against Paulton Rovers.

Three of those goals came in Blackfield and Langley's 3-0 victory over the Kingfishers in the reverse fixture back in December; a loss Danny Robinson's side will hope to avenge in tomorrow's game.
