After a thrilling 4-2 win over Evesham United in their last outing, the Blues are back on the road with a trip to Street (3:00 kick off.)

Thatcham travel to The Tannery Ground filled with confidence after their emphatic performance against high-flying Evesham.

But Street are in fine form having gone undefeated in their last four games, including their most recent triumph over Bideford.

After new signing Kyle Tooze bagged a debut goal in the Kingfishers’ last outing, manager Danny Robinson has now reinforced his defensive options by adding Jon Beeden to the squad.

The player has secured his move from Chippenham Town and will be available for selection this weekend.

Just four points separate the two teams heading into the fixture with Thatcham 13th and Street hovering over the play-off places in seventh.

A win for Robinson’s side would see the Blues narrow the gap and apply pressure to Highworth, Bideford, Melksham, Cinderford and Winchester – all of whom sit within three points of the Berkshire-based side.

Goal difference separates the home team and AFC Totton but victory for The Cobblers could push Street into the coveted play-off spots with only a point between themselves and Cirencester Town.

Town’s last meeting with Street came back in October when Ross McErlain’s header sealed all three points for the Cobblers.
