Thatcham have gone without a win in their last three games after losses to Melksham Town and Slimbridge in recent weeks, taking the club to 14th in the league table.

Barnstaple have endured a difficult season and currently sit bottom of the Southern League; winning only three fixtures and walking away defeated on 18 occasions.

The two sides met back in September when Blues forward George Jeacock marked his debut at Waterside Park with a hat-trick in Thatcham’s 3-2 victory.

A win for Danny Robinson’s team on this time around could see the visitors climb closer to the top half of the division, with Larkhall Athletic, Highworth Town and Street all within touching distance of the Kingfishers.

But Barnstaple are four points adrift from safety and will be eager to put an end to their current ten-game winless streak.

A loss for Thatcham could result in the club dropping to 15th in the league standings if Bristol Manor Farm pick up three points against Melksham Town.
