We return to Emirates FA Cup action on Tuesday evening when we travel to Bemerton Heath Harlequins in a Preliminary Round Replay. The two sides having previously played out a 0-0 draw at Waterside Park on 25th August.

Bemerton play in The Wessex Premier Division, one step below is in the non-league pyramid. This past weekend Bemerton played in The FA Vase, a competition permanently in the hearts of Kingfisher fans following last season's triumph at Wembley. They travelled to Hythe & Dibden and came away with a 2-1 victory.

We will be looking to bounce back after defeat at the weekend away at Larkhall Athletic going down 2-0.

On offer to the winners of this tie is £2,890 in prize money and a trip to Southern League South side Taunton Town on Saturday.

We hope to see many of you there on Tuesday night, come on the Kingfishers!

Bemerton Heath Harlequins history:

The Club was formed in 1989 as an amalgamation of Bemerton Athletic, Moon FC and Bemerton Boys with all three clubs having been successful in their own spheres. With all three clubs looking for fresh challenges the new club was formed with the aim of Wessex League membership the number one priority. Since its formation the club has gone from strength to strength, achieved Wessex League football, and now runs sides from Under 10 through to the first team. The Club has become a consistent League force and in 1993 finished 3rd in the League, had lengthy runs in both the FA Cup and Vase, won the Wiltshire Senior Cup and completed a hat trick of Hospital Cup victories. Progress continued with the Wessex League Combination Championship in 1997, League Cup runners-up in 1998 and the last 16 of the FA Vase in 1999. During this period and beyond , the facilities were constantly improved with the superb Clubhouse and the Les Pantlin Stand and success on the field continued with 3rd place in the League in 2010 and victory over League Champions Poole Town in the League Cup Final at Christchurch. Further honours included the Russell Cotes cup in 2012 along with second place in the League and runners up in the Wiltshire Senior Cup.
