Thatcham face points de-duck-tion

Thatcham face a three point de-duck-tion following an incident in yesterday’s 8-1 win over Longlevens.

The referee’s match report stated the game was suspended following the invasion by two ducks, contravening law 37 d (iii) relating to ‘failure to control local wildlife'.

Vice chairman Nigel Brock commented “This decision has ruffled a few feathers, but we will come back stronger – it’s water off a duck’s back to us.”

Manager Danny Robinson added “This is quackers.”
